Did you know that if you use your eBook reader often there is no need to power it off? That said, if you only use your eBook reader every couple of weeks you should definitely power it off. (Note: I also recommend you turn wi-fi off unless you are downloading a new eBook.)

Believe it or not, there are other video call options besides Facetime. This post lists some of the alternative apps and services. Only Apple users can use Facetime, so unless you video call exclusively to other Apple users you should use one of the others available.

When I read this post I went to my smartphone address book and started cleaning it up using the advice in this post. After about an hour I ended up with a clean address book, no duplicates, no obsolete contact email and phone numbers, and no email only contacts other than a few that I find necessary to keep. Check this post out and then clean up your own smartphone address book.
