Interesting Internet Finds – WE August 9, 2013

I have published Interesting Internet Finds monthly in the Boca Raton Computer Society’s Boca Bits monthly newsletter, and share them through the APCUG PUSH program with other computer/technology user group newsletter editors, for some time now. Each month, I have many more than I can use, so have decided to start publishing some of those that were not used here. I do not go into much depth about each one, I just put them out there for you to check out yourself. Addicted to the Internet

Defragging in Windows 7 (and later)
http://askleo.com/defragging-in-windows-7-and-later/
I get asked about defragging all the time. If it is XP, I recommend doing it at least once a month. If Windows 7 or better, I give about the same advice as this post from Leo Notenboom. And as to flash memory or SSD, I agree with Leo that they should not be defragged.
