I publish Interesting Internet Finds monthly in the Boca Raton Computer Society’s Boca Bits monthly newsletter, and share them through APCUG‘s PUSH program with other computer/technology user group newsletter editors.

I see people with laptops and no trays all the time, and it drives me crazy. I always use a laptop tray, or at least a collapsible “X” type frame. For me, the tray makes the laptop easier to use, and keeps it cool.
Precautions To Take Before Sending Your PC Or Laptop For Repair
Though this is specific to Microsoft machines, a lot of the information applies to others too. When your PC/laptop needs repair, unless you are doing it yourself, these points need consideration before turning the machine over.
